Did I ever tell you that I actually won an award, at work, for the most self proclaimed jeans days? Well I did! I’m kind of proud of that award too, though I’m sure it wasn’t awarded because they wanted to let everyone know what a great job I was doing at wearing jeans or how cute my butt looks in those jeans. I imagine it was meant as more of a hint to me to stop wearing jeans so often… but whatever! I have the award, it’s hanging in my cube, and I refer to it often.
In the real world I've been trying really hard to only wear jeans on the days we're actually "allowed" to wear jeans, which is each and every Friday. I’m failing and failing bad. If this were school, the teacher would take me aside and give me a stern warning, letting me know that if I don’t bring my grade up, I’ll be in danger of “really” failing. Of course, and right in line with the script, I promise the teacher that I will do better next week…
The silver lining to all this? If it weren’t for the jeans I’m wearing today I wouldn’t have an excuse to show you all the cute ass jeans I’ve found on sale !!
And the jeans I’m wearing today? Well they qualify as one of my bargain finds since they cost me $0.00! Black Tommy Hilfiger, boot cut, for $0.00! SCORE!!
Ok, ok they weren’t really a bargain “find”, they were a bargain “give”, a friend passed them to me after she decided they weren’t for her. Bless her :)
