Because of this, Fridays at work are never bad, EVER ! Well, ok they can be busy and stressful and a lot of time we’ll work late, but they’re not bad. How could they be when you know that you have 2 days off once you get thru “Friday”. And this weekend, I have 3 days off - I hope. I need to go ask my boss if he is approving my request to take Monday off. He’s notorious for not reading emails. I think he’s of the mindset that if you ignore them long enough, they’ll go away.
Well let me just say, my emails isn’t going to go away! I need my vacation day ~ actually days! You see, where I work if we don’t use them we lose them. There’s no compensation for unused vacation days. There’s no saving them up and rolling them over to the next year. It’s use it or lose it baby, and we have to use ours up by April 1st. And I have vacation to take, to use up, to enjoy. So take note boss, MY EMAILS AREN’T GOING TO DISAPPEAR!
